The first four cars for visitors are still being prepared delayed some what by the floods.

The route has been determined and the road book is still being prepared.

Planning for the 4 days in Wellington is completed.

The reconnaissance has been completed and accommodation arranged.

in conjunction with the

4CV Register of Australia presents…..

The Brisbane – Wellington – Brisbane International Tour and Muster.

Every two years the 4CV Register of Australia holds a national gathering of all rear engine Renaults. It is held over the Easter break at a different country town in New South Wales. The selected town is approximately central to the Eastern states of Australia. The town of Wellington has been selected as the location for the 2011 event.

The Renault Car Club of Queensland will conduct a tour to and from the event along interesting, scenic and challenging roads although the navigation will not be complicated. Each night a motel will be selected as the tour headquarters. A briefing will be held after the evening meal. The tour from Brisbane to Wellington will take 4 days. Then 4 days will be spent in Wellington. Then 3 days return trip to Brisbane.  There are 3 days of activities before the tour. Another 3 days of activities after the tour. The 4CV Register will conduct various activities over the four day Easter break in Wellington.

EXCITING NEWS

Places on the tour and the 4 days at Wellington have been offered to International enthusiasts. Already there has been firm interest, four couples from France, one couple from Belgium have already indicated they plan to participate.

It is planned to provide rear engine Renault loan vehicles for all visitors from overseas.
